Everton vs. Aston Villa - Betting Tips

As we approach the end of the season we go through a lot of crucial matches, both for the Premiership title, the relegation battle and the fight for UEFA Cup spot.

Today's match at Goodison Park might decide the participant of next season's UEFA cup. A win for Everton will end Villa’s chances and practically cement The Toffees 5th place.
We have to remember that a draw won't necessarily harm Aston Villa, as their remaining two matches see them play Wigan and West ham, while Everton's next fixture is at the Emirates. This is why Aston Villa will not go all out attack.
Since their superior goal difference, a win for Villa will take them into fifth place, on the expense of Everton, and put their faith in their own hands.

Aston Villa find themselves in great form, having scored fifteen goals in their last 3 matches, in opposite to Everton which stumbled on their last two matches, earning only one point out of 6. Michael Arteta and Leon Osman are doubtful for the match, while Martin O’neill has no such problem, as Aston Villa’s squad is fully fit for the match.
Everton didn’t beat Villa in the last couple of seasons, neither home nor away. Still, the bookies have made Everton favorites in this game, with 11/8 odds, according to BETFRED.

Both teams’ top predictors go with the team they know best of. Looking at the rest of the community show Aston Villa are the favorites, with about 50% believing they will win. 30% of the community suggests a draw, leaving only 20% to go with Everton. This totally contradicts the top predictors.

A tough one indeed….
